My daughter and I watched Mamma Mia for the second time this week-end. What a blast. You got to feel for the non-singing cast to belt all those ABBA songs. Did I mention I still crush on Pierce Brosnan. No matter how bad he sings, he still looks marvelous.
My point, yes… This time we kept replaying our favorite songs and trying to do the dances. It was special. This is now our special act like crazy people movie. I hope that it will be a memory that we both will treasure.

Totally love his electric deep frying machine. I can now actually fry like a pro. We made red potato chips that were not greasy. Yumo.
For those who can’t fry, but this and be amazed. Quick cleanup and filters the grease automatically.
Bacon (Turkey Bacon) with cheddar horseradish cheese stuffed in figs.

My Ellen’s learning how to read. She loves words, but not necessarily reading. That is until, last Wednesday. She read a story and you could see the words blooming pictures in her mind. She wanted to finish reading to see how the story ends.
I’m determined to feed this gift.

This year, I decided to do it all: consult, freelance, write and homeschool. Why did I do this?
Well, my daughter’s born 5 days after the cut off here in Georgia. She’s already adding double digit numbers. I couldn’t bear to have her spend a year coloring in kindergarden as opposed to continue to feed her appetite for learning. (Oh, the private school here pretty much follow the same rule. I’m busy not suicidal.)
So I’m consulting for two startups while I focus on my own software company. If the world can hold still until 10:30, I can manage it all. This blog will be different. Hopefully you’ll like it and come back by.
